Welcome to 2010

...
For most, it's back to work, back to school. (DeSoto goes back tomorrow) Either way, we start the day with a few snow flurries, and the promise of much much colder weather for the week ahead. None of which should come as a surprise to you, we've been talking about this cold blast for days. AND, all signs are pointing to a significant snow Thursday. Why am I somewhat concerned? If everything hits they way it is planned, the ground will be nice and frozen to support that snow on the ground right into the weekend.
This is a developing situation that I urge you to stay on top of.

The "Jet Stream" is taking a dip, and an area of LOW pressure will provide the moisture to make all this happen Thursday and Friday.

DON'T WAIT 'TIL WEDNESDAY TO GO SHOPPING!

The Play off picture is set in the NFL. Couple of blow outs over the weekend. Favre, QB rating of amost 149 in 3 quarters.

James Cameron has done it again, his 2nd "Billion Dollar" film. Avatar has received great response around the globe. At the box office this past weekend, it continues to rule.

It's not looking good for one of the MARS Rovers, it's been stuck for a while..

Who do you believe? Is this "Salvage-able?"

A "Near Death" experience comes to tv.

Re-Cap for the U of M Tigers b-ball victory last night.

ISS viewing opportunities this week are in the evening, if you are brave enough to deal with the elements.

A Mid-South Powerball winner from over the weekend, no, NOT Tennessee, but ARKANSAS! Can you believe it...? It was a $25 million prize.
