Wow, what a weekend

...
Well, I guess the weather couldn't have been any better for your outdoor plans, sure hope you and the family took advantage of the opportunity to "soak up some sun!" Today is looking good, but starting tonight, big changes, that will last the rest of the week.

There is some concern for "melting snow" to our north.

Here's what's happening for the week ahead weather wise for the Mid-South.

AND... what to look out for later this week!

Did you watch the Oscars last night? Anything Surprise you? Not me. Everything went pretty much the way I had expected. (you'll remember I called for an Oscar for Sandra after seeing the film way back when) I'm thrilled the movie "UP" picked up its award for best animated film. If you haven't seen it, rent, buy it, see it. I promise you its worth your time for you and your family.

Here's a look at the winners....

In the "Weekend Box-Office" Johnny Depps new "Alice in Wonderland" brought folks out in droves... big big big.

The President is getting ready to speak about the future plans of the US Space program. Has he had a change of heart when it comes to the shuttle program? Or the mission to the moon?

Next weekend, it's "Spring Forward" with Daylight Saving Time, AND "Spring" is almost here, on the 20th this month we say: "Soooooo long to a nasty winter season."

In Daybreak Trivia today: The early start of Daytona stock car racing and the "Trans AM"
