Mid Week

Our slow warm up continues across the Mid-South, and we're still looking at rain chances as we approach the weekend, there could be a few showers south and southeast of Memphis later this evening.

The "Ask Vance" piece on President McKinley's visit to Memphis in 1901. He was shot by an assassin just a few days later (Sept 6th, 1901) and then died 8 days later.

Recently, Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the moon, was in Memphis to talk about his endeavours, another astronaut, from Apollo 12 has been in the news lately, with a talent you may not have been aware of.

Do you know who "Susan Olsen" is? May be showing your age.

And while we are taking it back a few years, how about Tiffany.  Remember her?  A singer making a comeback via Nashville.

Our Daybreak Trivia involved a quote from a President, and the first guest for "uncle Walter" when his show went to a half hour.

Here's a little gift, especially if you are a fan of photography, and history.

Google has lots of cool stuff, just click on the "Images" button.

Think you've "Seen it all" when it comes to cell phones?

When will "enough be enough" for these guys?  I'm not sure what the goal is here.  Maybe I'm missing
something.

Here's a job I've heard, many would like to try.

Speaking of weather, not sure I'd want to live here.

From the Hurricane Center, say hello to "Erika."

You've likely heard or seen the promo's with Tim Simpson for the upcoming telethon for MDA.  Here's a great photo of Tim, and the man himself, Jerry Lewis.
