A change in the weather

For the past week we have enjoyed "most pleasant" conditions.  North winds, low humidity, comfortable temperatures.  Time for a change, in the form of "increased" rain chances through much of the weekend and into next week.

Check the "Bright Spot" of the week, and other great videos from our "Daybreak Video" page.

That Tropical Storm Erika is encountering quite a bit of resistance, and is weaking.

That storm "Jimena" has been weakening as it works it way over land, and may head back out into the Pacific.

He's rumored to be "leaving" the band.   A very famous band.  Think it'll make a difference?

Apparently the lack of tourists is having a big impact in Hawaii.
Ever stay at this place?

A big name, you may know, may just throw his hat into the ring, for the seat vacated by Ted Kennedy.

NASA is having to keep a close on some "Space Junk," it may impact a space walk or two if they have to move the ISS around, to avoid being hit.

Uh, I don't think this is what the shows producers were looking for.

Andrew Zimmer is taking his show on the road, not that Alton Brown hasn't already done it, but we'll see how he portrays Memphis.  Seemed to have enjoyed his visit.

We have a bit of a surprise for you tomorrow on Daybreak.  We're going on a bit of a "road trip" ourselves.
This sounds like it will be an interesting event.

For 2009, it's being called the "Summer of Death."  Is that fair?

Daybreak Trivia this morning, "Treaty of Paris" and  Birthday boy Charlie Sheen.
