Improving weather

...
Our forecast continues to improve across the Mid-South, but the "7-day" needs to be watched for scattered showers and much warmer weather as we approach the weekend. It could be "round 2" with more nasty weather.

Our "Million Dollar Madness" continues, 2 chances for $300 and 100 lottery tickets, during daybreak, and again on News Channel 3 at 10. Learn more from our website....

So, like guess who came to Memphis to record recently, didn't bother to tell me she was coming, and even shot some video of her time here! She's "So Unusual!" Here's Part two. it's mostly at the Civil Rights Museum and the surrounding area.

The "Kentucky Derby" is just around the corner.... with one of the leading contenders, scratched!

Tops at the box office this past weekend, a movie my kids have now seen TWICE! How to train your Dragon, and, BTW, that is "NOT" Christian Slaters' voice as the young man in the film. it was this guy.

The "Hollywood" sign appears to be safe now, after a couple of generous donors stepped up with the final money needed to buy the park, where the sign sits.

In Daybreak Trivia: This famous plane took to the air for the first time in 2005, and this ship sank near
Memphis 145 years ago, with a tremendous loss of life.

And, you know all about "Tom Lee" park, and why it is so named, right? It was another boating tragedy and heroic efforts that brought this man fame.
