Sunny, Dry Week ahead

...
Finally, a return of the sunshine over the weekend, after a very wet month in the Mid-South.

Last week on Daybreak, we talked about just "how much" rain had fallen... here's the breakdown:

First measure is of Friday's rain, then the month total and yearly total.

Memphis 2.12" 10.56" 54.76" (+ 11.70" for the year) Rerord "October rainfall" total.

NWS office in Memphis, Agri Center 2.09" Record Daily rain, 11.25" 65.84"

Jackson, TN 1.79" Record Daily rain, 7.35" 48.35"

Jonesboro, AR 3.00" Record Daily rain 11.71" 65.26"

Tupelo, MS 0.99" 10.83" 56.58"

We talked about this on Daybreak this morning, you in the market for a motorized "Lazy Boy"?

Still have any candy left from Saturday night? Hope your "Trick or Treating" went well.

Maybe we have NOT seen the last of VICTOR NEWMAN!

Friday was said to be his last day after contract talks broke down.

We watched his life flash before our eyes.

Here are your links to your weekend sports: "NASCAR" "College Football" "NFL"

Here's a great story on the Brett Favre, and the battle this weekend in Green Bay.

Need an update on the "World Series," you got it. In the NBA, here's a city hoping to get a team.

So much for "intimate" cruise ships, this one is a BEAST.

Next time someone complains about your driving, show them this.

The "King of Pop" was "King" at the box office over the weekend. "This is it," was it, with a 5 day take of over a 100 million.

In Daybreak Trivia, it's official name was the "Hughes H-4 Hercules" but we knew it better by this name. (that sounds like a question straight off of Jeapordy, doesn't it?)
