It's Friday!

Good morning everyone... thanks for joining us this morning on Daybreak. Temps will warm back to around 90 this afternoon, with the return of south winds.

It's "FREE FRIDAY" on Daybreak, did you catch today's deal?!? Might get a free medium fries and drink out of it!

Those of you with "Facebook" will want to check out the Daybreak Facebook page, we are sharing YOUR opinions of former Mayor Herentons idea to return to office. Are you a friend of the Daybreak page yet? Find us at "WREG Daybreak."

This morning you may have also heard about "Zap the Gap." Your chance to report "Dead Zones" with your cell phone coverage in rural areas.

Look who's in the lead in the final major of the season. That's right, Tiger.

He fired a 67 and at 5 under is out front after the first round. Part time Memphian John Daly, who created such a stir by winning this contest about 20 years ago, has with drawn from the competition, citing an ailing back.

You can watch the final rounds of the "PGA" on WREG News Channel 3 this weekend!

You may or may not know his name, but he left a huge impression on the world of music as we know it today, at the age of 94, we lost a man who was more than just a musician.

It's been a while since we've "gone to the movies" but there are a few new films out there, here is one to consider. Sure doesn't hurt that one of the stars, is one of my favorite actresses.

This popular swimmer was involved in a car crash the other day, but apparently was NOT injured.

Can't find work? Many are finding it, in this unlikely place.

With the latest Space Shuttle Mission less than 2 weeks out, I've turned my eyes back to the skies to see if there are any "viewing possibilities" of the Int'l Space Station. It appears that as of late, you'll have to set the alarm extra early to catch it.

Speaking of, what's in store for the Discovery when it blasts off in the early morning hours later this month...?

After visting incredible "Farmers Markets" in Seattle and Vancouver, I'm convinced that a great market is great for the city. Maybe this is a start.

Do you like to track "tropical systems" in the Atlantic? I love this site. Of course I'm always watching the Nat'l Hurricane Center, but it's just more fun.

Did you hear me talking about the cat that FOUND my family? Here she is, and again we call her Sundae.
