Friday, weekend....

Did you see us talking about "Cash for Clunkers" on Daybreak
this morning? The program is about to conclude,
learn more here: http://www.cars.gov

Check out the story about the news anchor getting "Licked" by a Pitt Bull,
and see our "Free Fridays" video from our Daybreak Page.

As promised, our cold front has rolled through
skies are clearing and west and northwest winds
are returning, bottom line, a GREAT looking
weekend for the Mid-South. Sunshine,
low and mid 80's, for summer?!? Get outta here.

Friends in Bermuda? Gonna be a tough night with "Bill" passing by. The storm has weakened a little, but still is very powerful.

It's "GO JIM GO!" time again....be a part of it! Learn more by going to the website, I've linked it for you to make it easy!

On my recent visit to the "Great White North" I gained a whole new respect for Canada. It was called the Railroading in the Rockies tour, but on day two, we enjoyed Victoria, BC, with it's great harbour and many parks. This place was the cleanest city I've ever seen, and every yard was neatly manicured! Click on the link for my video diary for that day.

Why I have such respect for our lawmen, (and women) and what they have to deal with on a daily basis.

Our Daybreak Trivia this morning brought you to the island paradise of Hawaii. Were you able to get any of the questions with out any help?!?
Alphabet. Coffee

Don't know where you stand, but I would still like to see Brett Favre do well on the field. He's 39, I just hope he doesn't embarrass himself. Not everyone is excited about it, and they are not being shy about it either.

Counter point.

Looks like someone got the keys to my "Car Barn" and borrowed one of my prize chariots, apparently they won a contest with it. Hope they bring it back, undamaged.

Have a trip planned for the fall? Apparently the airlines are slashing fares, but you have to jump on them early.

Have you been curious as to what Britney Spears has been up to? Okay, then don't click on the lnk.

Was watching a show on "Biography" the other night, about the tragic turns in the life of comedians. John Belushi came up. He's frozen in time for the images in our brain. Take a guess, if he was still alive, how old would he be today. Here's some help.
